You first need to understand your bike and its capability with near future bike modifications that can work as recommended by world champion Mark Cavendish all the way to how serious of cyclist you anticipate on being.

My Experience before you Buy A Road Bike

My Brother and I have been dedicated cyclists for quite some time now. I would say we started cycling almost six years ago and fell in love with the sport.  We can say we are novice cyclists dedicated to the sport. I own four road bikes including the GMC Denali Pro Road bike as well as Diamondback 2012 Podium 1 Road Bike which is also an amazing road bike especially if you’re looking to become a novice dedicated cyclist. My brother and I both love the GMC Denali Pro Road Bike along with several other experienced cyclists I am really close friends with. I have done some sweet upgrades and modifications to my Pro such as upgraded seat, removal of the black spoke protector (it’s just not necessary) I upgraded the seat because it honestly was not comfortable to me. Again that’s my opinion but now it is extremely comfy.  I also upgraded to an aluminum crank set which can make the bike up to a pound lighter. The GMC Denali Pro Road bike is roughly around 27lbs but you can get it down to about 23-24lbs depending on your upgrades and modifications. If you are not a bike mechanic I suggest you bring it to one for all your upgrades and tune ups. I have been working on bikes for a while now and I still continue to visit my bike mechanic only because they are very knowledgeable and quick with repairs and modifications. Another great thing about this road bike is if it’s your first road bike or one of many you can train on this type of bike as me and my brother do then jump onto a more advanced lighter bike such as the Fezzari Catania which is my high performance competition road bike this is a super light advanced bike so not only am I a lot faster on it now but I am much more conditioned from training on a heavier bike. An Overview of the GMC Denali Pro/ Buy A Road Bike

Overall I feel the GMC Denali Pro Road Bike is the way to go if you’re looking to Buy A Road Bike not only is it exceptional value for its price but it can be modified and used as a starter, backup or training road bike. There is also the GMC Denali Road Bike which is cheaper than the Pro but I must say from the looks of it this bike does not have the same features as the Pro but if you’re a beginner this bike might suite you well. Again if you’re starting out I suggest you don’t spend all your money on these high end road bikes you will be very please with my recommendation. Road Bike Gear
